We ve all got that one thing we still do manually that makes us groan every time - formatting copied text, renaming files, setting up tasks, writing the same message again and again. If you could wave a magic AI wand and automate just one repetitive thing, what would it be? Bonus if you ve actually hacked a solution for it, I love learning from clever automations. Also: I m working on something in this space, so I m not just asking for fun Following anyone who shares something cool or teaches me something new.
I'm seeing more products launch on Product Hunt that require payment to actually use any features. No free trial, no freemium tier, just a download that leads straight to a paywall.
Part of me thinks this makes sense. If your product has real value, why give it away? People on Product Hunt understand they're looking at premium tools. Plus offering free access can attract users who will never pay anyway.
But I also see the argument for temporary free access during launch. Product Hunt users want to actually try what they're upvoting. How can they give meaningful feedback or become advocates if they hit a paywall immediately?
Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.
Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

We ve been building Idea TBD in public - a weekly drop where we share raw product ideas, highlight early-stage tools, and experiment with building a community around curiosity and creativity.
I just saw the Aqua Voice changelog and thought it was a great example of a product that's focused on the right things. It's no secret that a lot of us on the Product Hunt team are fans of Aqua Voice, especially @jakecrump ! Here's their latest changelog:
0.4.0
This is a "Snow Leopard" release focused on making the basics faster and more reliable.
Hi Product Hunt fam! We have a new feature in beta that scans your facial expressions in order to recommend a playlist for your mood and we'd love your help in testing it out. Grab the beta here (iOS only) and feel free to leave your feedback on this thread, thanks!
