Since I haven't been able to meet my work goals very well in the last few quarters, I now plan to approach them more systematically and not push myself too hard on work goals, as that ultimately led to problems that made my plan less sustainable.
Many of you sometimes write to me in DMs asking how to position yourself on Product Hunt.
From the question, I always get the feeling that people want to speed up the process, publish something quickly, get a high position in the ranking of launched products and a badge. But this is a long-term game.
This question is semi-philosophical, but I recall my ex-classmate she had quite rich parents and really didn't need to work. As an only child, she had everything first (all technology, all pricy vacations, they even bought her own flat in 18 + car). Since she had a lot of money from her parents and a lot of free time, she only enjoyed life (some dr*gs and other stuff). As a person, she didn't look like someone who would appreciate money or time at all because it was "normal" to have everything from all above mentioned.
(And I don't want to sound bad, but I honestly don't know what skill she would have that she could use to make a living - the only thing she was really good at was being sassy, which, oddly enough, earned some people's respect.)
I have been quietly building two products I am really proud of, and they are finally getting ready to meet the world.
The first helps teams report and respond to safety issues using nothing but their voice. The second makes ESG reporting and compliance less chaotic and a lot more intelligent.
Both were shaped by real field problems, long nights with engineers, endless user interviews and beta testing cycles. They are designed for people who don t have time for complicated tools but still need accuracy, speed, and clarity.
Launching soon. If you are curious about AI applied to real-world operations, or you just enjoy seeing new ideas take shape, I did love to have you follow along.
Hello everyone. I am Abigail, Product Manager at ENTROGX Ventures (AI & Enterprenuership in Energy)
I spend my days turning real world problems from industrial teams into practical AI products. I am passionate about building tools that actually make people s work safer, smoother, and less chaotic, not just AI for the sake of AI.
Excited to connect, learn from this community, and get early feedback as we grow. If you are into safety, operations, or applied AI, I did love to hear your thoughts.
I see many countries promoting social media to raise the age for using it (e.g., Australia, the UK, etc.).
The sad thing is that some parents are already giving their toddlers a tablet to "entertain" them. This hurts the child's brain development. Not to mention when they get on social media and are exposed to various trends.
Every launch comes with new learnings. The platform is changing over time, but many things don t depend on the platform itself they depend on how you approach the launch: your pricing, customisation, or how early you show up, and more.
What did you learn from your launch, and what will you adjust for next time?
