Professor of Arabic philology and lexicography at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. I founded Voice of Arabic (voiceofarabic.net) in 2001, a home for Arabic language studies that won the award of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, and EventSheets (eventsheets.com), a bilingual platform where researchers find academic conferences and organisers run them, from the call for papers to verified certificates.

EventSheets - Find and publish academic conferences worldwide

EventSheets is where academic events are published and run, in Arabic and English. Publishing is free: every conference, symposium or workshop gets a page, a place on the calendar and map, and a searchable archive. Organisers can then run it end to end: registration, paper submission, blind peer review by private link, sessions, QR check-in, badges, and PDF certificates anyone can verify. Nothing is taken from participants; the organiser pays once per event.
