Kintz – Healing from Breakups with Community and Guidance

Hey everyone,

I m building Kintz, an app inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi where broken pottery is repaired with gold, turning cracks into something beautiful. The idea is simple: just like pottery, people can heal from breakups and come back stronger, especially together with others.

Kintz helps with:

  • Community support so you don t go through it alone

  • Guided journaling to process thoughts and emotions

  • Webinars and group calls for practical tools and shared experiences

  • Daily check ins to track your healing journey

Building PnL App – Helping Traders Stay Disciplined

Hey everyone,

I m working on PnL, an app built for traders who want to stay consistent and disciplined. Most trading apps only show charts and execution, but they rarely focus on the hardest part of trading psychology and discipline.

With PnL, we re focusing on three main things:

  • Auto and manual journaling so you can track trades without the hassle

  • Discipline Mode that blocks trading apps when you are likely to break your own rules

  • Community chat to connect with traders who go through the same challenges

πŸ”₯ 1000-day streak – special edition: How to last on Product Hunt long-term?

I have been here for so long that visiting the Product Hunt page is like an automatic reflex after waking up. Just kidding.

Anyway, there are 10 hints on how to keep that streak going:

PnL App - The trading psychology app that forces you to be profitable.

Want to quit trading? Don’t. PnL tracks every move, blocks your impulse trades, exposes your weak spots, and connects you with traders who trade to earn. Turn discipline into profit or watch others pass you by. Profit is a mindset.

How do you push social media channels these days?

We ve been testing so many strategies and content ideas, posting consistently on TikTok and Instagram for quite a while now. The results haven t been great, and we d really like to reach more people with our content because Kintz is all about connection to future customers.

Any tips on improving our outreach?

I got my heart broken, so I made an app.

Getting my heart broken was ultimately the best thing that happened to me because I was able to create Kintz. Kintz is inspired by kintsugi the art of mending broken pottery with gold, and just like that we mend hearts with community and healing.

When I was going through my breakup, I encountered a problem, all of my friends were either single or in a relationship and couldn't relate to me. I was craving connection with someone who was going through the same thing as me, and could respond to my text messages at 3 am. After endless searching, with no perfect solution available, I just decided to make an app myself. Kintz is the go-to app for healing from your breakup. We have free resources like our nurturing community, mood tracking, journaling and paid features such as following a healing journey with personalized and actionable insights.

Have you ever gotten your heart broken? Share your story.

Are startup accelerators still worth it in 2025?

Lately there s been a growing wave of skepticism around VCs, Y Combinator, and accelerators in general. And to be fair: I get it.

We now live in an age where almost everything you need to learn can be found online. The gatekeepers are fewer, the knowledge is everywhere, and solo builders have never been more empowered.

When the First Big Funding Round Costs You Your Relationship

I ve seen this happen a lot a founder closes their first big funding round, and not long after, their relationship ends.
It s not always about money or success changing someone. Often it s the grind leading up to that point: long hours, constant stress, and being mentally somewhere else even when you re physically home. Over time, it takes a toll.

I m working on Kintz, a breakup healing app inspired by kintsugi, partly because I ve watched this play out more times than I can count. Curious if others here have noticed the same pattern.

If you wanted to find talented people for your startup – where would you look?

In a time when big corporations are overpaying for their job offers just to steal the best talent from another big company, and in an era where everyone can build their own startup, there will always be room for people who prefer to join a team and work on something (in the future) big.

How would you find these promising talents?

Is August a good month to launch on Product Hunt?

I ve been digging into Hunted.Space stats for August launches over the past few years and the differences between days are wild.

Wednesday to Thursday Busy days, lots of traffic, lots of competition.

Saturday & Sunday Projects launched on weekends get 3 4x fewer upvotes on average.

What do you think about AI psychoplogist in the app?

We have been refining final features of Kintz app - breakup healing & commuity app. Recently we have been debating if its a good idea to include AI chat where you can vent about your breakup (aka AI psychologist). What's your take on this?

Would you use an AI as a psychologist?

We have been refining last features of Kintz app - breakup healing & community app. We have been having debates on wether or not to include AI chat to vent about breakup (aka AI psychologist). Are you in favor or not of this?

Whats the best way to promote an app before launch??

We are preparing the launch for an Kintz app which is breakup healing & community app.
What's the best and most "guaranteed" way to promote it? Instagram & TikTok seem like a gamble (of course with right strategies it might work) but still it is way to unpredictable. Twitter? Any other ideas?
