We were getting slammed with support tickets from users stuck in password reset loops. When we checked the logs, we realized the issue wasn't broken code it was a 40 second email delay.

Users would leave the tab or click resend before the first link even hit their inbox.

What rules do you use to avoid tweaking features that users are already happy with?

It s so easy to fall into the habit of constantly changing things on your site just because you looked at a competitor or got bored of your own UI.

I used to jump straight into the code every time a flow felt slightly imperfect to me.

I slowly realized I was wasting tons of hours solving non existent issues instead of focusing on actual user pain points.
