Love this, was using it until I switched to Google's "Inbox." Any plans to add similar functionality there?

@johnrmeese Glad you like it, thanks for the upvote :) The extension now supports Inbox by Google. If you load https://inbox.google.com it should run automatically. If it's not working as expected for you, please just write to peter@inboxwhenready.org and I'll do my best to help :)

@peterhartree @inboxwhenready That's excellent! Works great, and matches the Inbox design.

This Chrome extension hides your Gmail inbox by default. All other views remain accessible as normal, so you can search your archive or compose messages *without getting distracted*. Ahhhhhh. P.S. When you actually want to see your inbox, press "Show Inbox" :) (The extension supports Gmail and Inbox by Gmail.) More info at: https://inboxwhenready.org --------------------- Some of the 💖 from the Chrome Web Store: “Fantastic. Can't tell you how many times I just wanted to do one thing in my email and got lost in my inbox. Wish I had had this years ago.” — David Peralta “I am instantly less stressed!! I've been waiting for this extension. Thank you!!!” — Niall Fennell "I never thought something so simple could be this good for my productivity. This is very easy to install, use, and benefit from." — Cheryl Chastain “You won't believe how much not seeing your inbox will increase your productivity. I love this extension.” — Stevie Clifton "Great extension that helps me avoid looking at my distracting email when I just want to focus on one task at a time." — Tristan Harris

I just added a new feature, which lets you lock yourself out of your inbox at times you specify. I hope this will help people form better inbox routines, e.g. no inbox at evenings and weekends :)

I love this. Same idea as Inbox Pause (https://www.producthunt.com/tech...), but way better implementation method. Already using on several accounts that I keep open daily. Added to my #inboxzero collection — https://www.producthunt.com/@one...

This looks awesome — thanks for building it, Peter! As a Safari user, it would be great to add this to my toolbox. Any chance you're working on a Safari-compatible version or know someone who is building (or has built) a similar tool for Safari?

@nireyal I wonder how product hunt does conversations, if you @ me what happens?

Big fan of this! I wonder if there's a equivalent for "checking slack when ready"? (or any generic mac app)
