We live in a world where we use the internet to shop, date, and to consume, yet only a very tiny percentage of charitable giving occurs online. eSolidar is a global giving marketplace that allows people to shop, sell and donate to their favourite charitable causes. At the same time, the platform enables charities to diversify their fundraising base and reach new audiences through online charity shops, donations and special charity auctions with celebrities/brands. In 2 years, the platform has close to 40K registered users, over 700 charities and partnered with some of the biggest music festivals and celebrities. Based in Portugal and UK, have done initiatives with 100+ celebrities (including Cristiano Ronaldo, Queen, Katy Perry, Elton John and Mark Knopfler), has achieved over 120% growth in the past six months and we are now equity crowdfunding on Seedrs: www.seedrs.com/esolidar eSolidar aims to do more for the “for-profit with purpose” industry than conventional charity platforms. It implements an e-commerce-powered fundraising marketplace, paired with a comprehensive social platform for charities and their communities. It’s their objective not to simply develop a platform, but foster a global social impact community that connects companies and consumers to charitable causes worldwide.

US is our next target market as we were several months in Silicon Valley and wish to return there. We established there some key contacts with local VCs with who we have been updating with our progress. Hope to see you there next year!
