Looks sweet. We use Trello for so many things - product management, sales pipeline, customer support, scheduling blog posts, etc. Kinda like spreadsheets can do any type of data management but are only GREAT for a few types of data management, so "better spreadsheets for X" is smart, feels like "trello just for X" has a future

This is very interesting and hits a pain point we certainly have. @dbounds and crew, can you be specific about how "trello for hiring" is better than using trello for hiring? does it have a direct-connect to linkedin or angellist?

@gregcohn Hi Greg. Good question and one I'm asked frequently.
The short answer is that Nimble is designed to manage the whole lifecycle, not just the candidate management piece. From publishing to the offer letter.

You get a career portal, job board integrations (2000+), analytics, candidate communication, collaborative vetting/voting, etc. Shortly we'll have interview scheduling and better pipe line customization too.

We're moving very quickly and thus far the response has been very positive.

@dbounds We've used Trello for managing our candidate interviews at a previous company I've worked for. We only used it for the developers to use to: Source, Phone Screen, Interview, Final Decision. What are your plans for making this have more features than Trello to manage only the candidate management piece?

Trello is definitely a great way to manage your candidate pipeline when you need to quickly go through the process (with different lists as the current progress of candidates). However, it got extremely messy with extremely long list of candidates, how are you planning on handling this?

Hey @JetFault. Great feedback. I was actually doing something similar at a previous company. That experience inspired Nimble.

So the answer to your first question is, that's what we do now. While we have a Trello-ish interface for managing positions and candidates, we offer support for the full lifecycle. Job portal, job board distribution (2000+), analytics, candidate vetting, candidate communication.

We're in what I would still call the beta stage are adding new functionality to fill in gaps each week.
