It started with a problem I lived with every day: I had multiple bank accounts and several cards, and I never had a clear, overall picture of where I actually stood financially. My money was scattered across places, and planning ahead felt almost impossible when I couldn't see the whole thing in one view.
So I built Zynex to pull all my accounts together and give me one complete picture of my finances — checking, savings, cash, assets, all in one place.
But there was a second problem: I make a lot of transactions, and logging each one by hand was a real drag. It's the kind of friction that makes you quit after a few days. So I put AI at the core of the app to make handling transactions as fast as possible — just speak it, snap it, or jot a note, and it turns into a clean, organized entry. The goal was simple: make tracking so effortless it stops being a chore in everyday life.
On top of that, Zynex puts an AI assistant in your pocket — one that helps you record and make sense of your data, so you can understand your finances clearly and quickly, without digging through charts.
That's why I built Zynex — and why I use it every day.

How well does it handle messy handwriting or partial receipts, like if the photo is blurry or cut off? Wondering how forgiving the AI parsing actually is in real use.

@mertcan_go90096 Great question — it's optimized for exactly that: real life, on the move, no time to line up the perfect shot. Handwriting works too. There's a learning layer underneath that keeps sharpening accuracy the more you use it. And when the extraction isn't quite right, every field — amount, merchant, category, date, account — is editable in a tap before you save. So even a bad photo gets you most of the way there; you just fix the last bit instead of typing it all from scratch.

Does the AI actually pull transactions from my bank accounts too, or is everything manual through the voice and photo entries?

@englsz56 Right now everything is manual — the AI just speeds up that entry. Automatic bank sync via API isn't planned for the near future. Bulk upload via a bank statement or file is a feature I plan to add later on.

how does the AI handle voice notes when you're offline or in a noisy spot

@nazife178194 The voice recording itself is captured on your device, but the audio is processed on our backend — that's why an active internet connection is required for the AI to handle a voice note. Offline, the recording can't be processed. As for noise: the voice handling works remarkably well even in noisy environments. You can use it next to a busy road, on public transport, or in crowded places and it still transcribes cleanly and reliably — background noise doesn't get in the way of accurate parsing.
