ZeroPlay

The missing "Block Button" for Apple Music

Apple Music's "Suggest Less" button doesn't always work. ZeroPlay does. A dedicated player that lets you hard-block artists and auto-skip songs in real-time. Featuring distraction-free design, Landscape Mode, and iCloud Sync.

Hey everyone, I'm Sun Lin, the developer of ZeroPlay. I built this app for a very selfish reason: I drive a lot, and I hate manually skipping songs. We all know the frustration—you dislike an artist on Apple Music, but the algorithm keeps slipping them into your station anyway. The "Suggest Less" button feels like a placebo. I wanted a "Nuclear Option." So I built ZeroPlay. It’s a standalone player that sits on top of your Apple Music library. The logic is simple: if a song matches your blocklist (Artist or Keyword), the app kills it instantly before it plays. A few things to know: It's strict: When you block an artist, they are gone. No "maybe later." Landscape Mode: I brought this back because looking at a vertical list while phone-mounted is annoying. Privacy: Everything syncs via your own iCloud. I don't see your data. It’s free to download and use the basic features. I’m currently looking for feedback on the blocking logic—does it feel too aggressive, or exactly right? Let me know what you think.
