Maker update: I’ve added a 24-second English walkthrough of the actual iPhone workflow — import a photo, preview it, leave the app, and return to the password screen with auto-lock set to Immediately.

The demo uses a 1.3.5 developer build and fictional sample files; the store version may differ. The free allowance is 75 cumulative file imports, with an optional one-time upgrade. Importing creates a copy and does not remove the original from Photos. Keep separate backups of important files.
A clarification to the original wording: on-device storage is not a claim that iOS, iCloud or App Store purchases never use the network. I’d welcome feedback on the import and auto-lock flow — especially anything that feels unclear on first use.
