I worked in a large corporate company that valued our compliance.
I spent hours each month making sure our employees and assets were compliant, keeping abreast of training, calibrations, certifications or our assets and our staffs PPE. This was all done via Excel. I thought we were just behind the curve, only to realize that most company use the same useless tools. It was this that drove me to building a tool that company can use to mange the above.
A tool that would send reminders and give me a dashboard that I could use to track full company compliance.
A tool that could do checklists, and since safety is not done at a desk, using BYOD logic to take safety where ever we are in the workplace.
Offline mode for inspections would be huge since a lot of our job sites have terrible signal. Sync everything once you're back in range would save my team from redoing paperwork.
