I'm Khaled, maker of ZephyPhone.
We launched ZephyPhone as a web app a while back, with one promise: crystal-clear international calls to 200+ countries from $0.019/min, no contracts, no monthly fees.
At the start, it was people like me : expats, calling parents, grandparents, siblings. The kind of calls you don t want dropping halfway through.
Then something unexpected happened:

Turns out, international calling cost is a hidden startup expense and we were quietly solving it.

I'm Khaled. I built ZephyPhone because calling my family abroad was costing me more than my streaming subscriptions combined.
The problem I was solving for myself:
Moved countries. Missed home. Picked up the phone to call mum, talked for 20 minutes, checked my bill: $15 For one call. Tried the "international packs" - still expensive, expired before I used them, came with terms longer than my rental agreement.
I looked around on Google and found some solutions, but they were all pricey. I wanted something simple, secure, and affordable for everyone—so I made ZephyPhone.
A couple of cents per minute. 200+ countries. Calls actual phone numbers - landlines, mobiles, that one uncle who still has a house phone from 2003. No subscriptions, no expiring bundles, no surprises.
