Zenda puts Correo Argentino's real shipping rates in your WooCommerce or Shopify checkout, priced from the cart's weight and size. Buyers choose their pickup branch, and you load each shipment into MiCorreo from the order. Free edition on WordPress.org.
Hi everyone! I'm Juan, and I build Zenda from Argentina.
Correo Argentino is the national postal service and the carrier most small Argentine stores ship with. Its price depends on the destination zone, the weight and the size of the box, so stores end up charging a flat rate: too high and buyers leave, too low and the store pays the difference on every long-distance order.
The integrations that existed didn't fit how stores sell today. The official WooCommerce plugin doesn't support the block checkout, which is what WooCommerce gives new stores by default. On Shopify, the official app needs Correo to validate your MiCorreo account before it shows a single rate, and many of its reviews come from merchants still waiting for that.
Zenda does three things:
- Quotes the real Correo Argentino price at checkout, from the weight and dimensions of the cart.
- Lets the buyer choose the branch where they'll pick up the order.
- Loads each shipment into the store's MiCorreo account from the order, one at a time or in batches.
The detail I like most: Correo's rates are list prices, and after testing the same destinations from four cities I found the origin doesn't change the price. So the whole national rate card is 108 numbers (3 zones × 9 weight steps × 4 services), measured every day. That's why the Shopify app quotes from the first day, without a MiCorreo account, and works on every Shopify plan, Basic included.
It's deliberately narrow: one carrier, one country, and a Spanish-only interface. The WooCommerce edition on WordPress.org is free (rates and branch pickup); Zenda Pro and the Shopify app are paid, with a free trial.
I'd love your feedback, especially if you've built an integration for a carrier with no real API for shipments. What would you have done differently?
