Hey Product Hunt π
i'm Pariola β a remote design engineer who got tired of the "wait β 3pm where?" moment every time someone tries to pin down a meeting time.
Zeity (/ΛtsaΙͺti/) is what i built so i'd stop. it lives in your menu bar, surfaces your friends' and teammates' local times at a glance, and lets you convert times across zones without opening another tab.
it started as a Chrome extension i hacked together for myself β born out of 7am meetings and late-night calls. folks who tried it kept asking for a Mac version, so i finally sat down and built it native. Swift, real care for the little details.
a few things i'm proud of:
- searches timezones by city or local place β not just abbreviation names β using Apple's native APIs
- native widgets, AppleScript support, launch-at-login β actually feels like a Mac app, not a wrapped web view
- one-click in-app updates that skip the App Store dance
- genuinely snappy β Swift, no Electron, no browser-tab overhead

β Chrome: [ADD TO CHROME]
hit me with feature requests in the comments β i'm here all day.
