Zack KI puts an AI one keystroke away. Select text or files in any Windows app, press Alt+1, and ask. The selection is attached as context. PDF, Word and Excel from Explorer come along without opening them, and the answer can be written straight back into what you marked. Built for quick everyday questions, not a replacement for your main AI chat. Chats stay on your PC, servers in Germany, no request storage. Windows only. Free to try: 500 starter credits, then 100 per week, no card needed.
Hey everyone
Zack KI exists because I got tired of a very small thing: alt-tabbing to a browser tab twenty times a day for ten second questions. I built this over the last few weeks as a solo dev and have so far only tested it on my own machines, so real feedback from other setups is exactly what I'm here for.
Two things I'd love input on: whether Alt+1 works as a default shortcut on your machine (it's changeable, but defaults matter), and whether a hidden hotkey is something you'd actually remember to use. Happy to answer anything about how the file context extraction works or what broke while building it.
