📌 Why I built YUNA

I built YUNA because I wanted to create more than just another AI chatbot. I wanted to create a personal AI companion with a living face, voice, personality, and memory.

My goal is to combine the fun of interacting with an animated character with the freedom to choose how your AI works. YUNA supports local AI models through Ollama for privacy-focused conversations, as well as external AI providers for users who prefer them.

As an independent developer, I'm building YUNA one step at a time, guided by real user feedback. I believe AI companions should be personal, customizable, and accessible — without mandatory subscriptions or unnecessary data collection.

YUNA is just the beginning. I'm working toward something much bigger, and I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and ideas!
