Okay, so long story short I belong to the post-millennials generation where video consumption contributes to a large part of our learning. Since YouTube is the largest repository of free video content online, we spend hours on the platform. Problem: Although there are tons of quality videos with excellent material, there is no easy way to search and play specific segments or topics of your interest that might be covered in the video. Solution: ytGREP, a tool that lets you search and play specific segments of your interest in a video. Note: Currently only works on videos that include a transcript and matches are based on the words/sentences present in the transcript.
