Most YouTube creators publish thumbnails and hope for the best. YouThumb lets you preview your thumbnail inside the real YouTube feed/search surrounded by actual competitor videos, before you hit publish. See exactly what viewers see. Test blur, grayscale, mobile vs desktop. Run an AI scan that ranks your thumbnail against 5 real competitors and tells you what to fix. Free to use — includes 100 free AI scan tokens on sign-up. No YouTube account needed. Works directly inside YouTube.

Hey Product Hunt!
I built YouThumb because I kept seeing creators (including myself) publish thumbnails without really knowing how they'd look in the feed and did not perform good atall.
The thing is, a thumbnail doesn't exist in isolation. It lives next to other videos competing for the same click. So I built a Chrome extension that lets you see exactly that, before you publish. Real YouTube feed, real competitor videos, mobile and desktop.
There's also an AI scan that ranks your thumbnail against 5 competitors and gives you specific things to fix.
Free to try, 100 tokens on sign-up.
If you're a YouTube creator I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. What would make this actually useful in your workflow?
