Couple weeks ago I was listening this conversation w/ Elon Musk who mentioned this curious idea.
Inside Tesla, they only run the most interesting simulations. The ones that produce signal and learning.
The boring branches get pruned. They teach nothing.
So if we’re living in a simulation, as he said, only the timelines worth learning from survive.
That’s why I built YourPrediction, to nudge us that way, so we can inspire people (and maybe the sim owner 🤷) to make our branch more interesting.
