From the FAQ: "Yes. We keep your name and address private from your Payer or Recipient." From the home page, see the image above: "YouPay link sent to payer Jessica shares a YouPay link with her friend Paul who makes the payment. Jessica’s details are kept private." The FAQ answer is contradicted by the sample image. The sample image makes more sense - why would the Payer accept a payment request from an anonymous person? The name has to be included!

@new_user_1873203600 Hey Jack, thanks for the question. It is really up to the shopper if they wish to share their actual "real name" with their chosen payer. Here are a couple of examples of common use cases. One where a name is shared, the other where it isn't. 1. A person shares a YouPay link with a friend for a birthday gift they want. Naturally, these people know each other "in real life" so they are of course comfortable sharing their real names with each other. 2. A twitch streamer posts a YouPay link to a product they'd love their supporters to buy them. The twitch streamer does not wish to reveal their "real name" (or their shipping address for that matter) for privacy reasons so they opt not to display their name on the YouPay link. Hope this makes sense. It really is up to each individual shopper or recipient if they wish to share their name.
