This is awesome!! Kudos to all of you for sharing these stories. It's amazing to see the different pipelines that lead into tech and the diversity in perspectives that they bring!
@jackie_pan Thanks so much for the support Jackie! 🦄 We hope you like the booklets!

I have been waiting for this launch since I heard about it on an excellent podcast! Congrats on launching! I'm a big proponent of making tech accessible to folks of all backgrounds. I think it's important to not discount but highlight the struggles of those who "made it" into tech as it's so easy to overlook the journey and only see the result. Often times, the only journeys we explore are those of the most successful - the Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Jeff Bezoses of the world. These books can serve as something more "real" rather than those exceptional outliers.
@rickyrombo Ahhhh, thank you so much Marcus for being a long-term supporter! And yes, exactly exactly exactly.
It's about showing the reality of what actually goes on behind the scenes. Far too often, people just skip past it. >_<

Congrats on the launch! I also took the non-traditional route to get into tech, its encouraging to read about other developers' stories and the different paths they took to be in the position that they are in today. Great job Helen and Sefunmi!!
@usra_a You got this Usra! Thank you so much for the support!

@herenhuang, I've been a huge fan of the You Belong in Tech blog and I love what you said on bamboo & glass podcast: "What you have is absolutely valuable. And now, let's polish it up so other people can see that! During Co.Lab, everyone is building upon the creativity of so many different people who don't always get a chance to showcase what it is that they can do."
I learned so much as a project mentor for Co.Lab and loved witnessing your community building magic first-hand.
Just emailed my alma mater's career development office about these booklets - I know so many students and alumni will feel emboldened by these stories.
Can't wait to see where you and @sefunmioshy take Co.Lab and You Belong in Tech!!
Really love that you're amplifying these non-traditional paths to tech. I believe this will motivate a lot of people who've felt that they won't be able to transition because of their educational backgrounds. Congratulations on your launch. Keep up the good work!
@joshua_leo_irabor Thank you thank you! Yeah, we just don't want something like that to hold someone back from even TRYING. Appreciate the love!

Congrats on the launch! It's so important to share these stories to show that people with non-traditional tech backgrounds can also break into tech and be just as (if not more) successful!
