I love how Yomio turns messy receipts into actual spending insights without the manual data entry. Since I travel quite a bit, does the AI handle different currencies and international tax formats automatically under one account?

@valeriia_kuna Hello Valeriia, yes, the app recognizes different currencies. However, we are currently working on currency conversion so that statistics can be viewed in a single base currency. Exchange rates will be applied automatically.
We also have a draft feature for tax-related information, but it was intentionally excluded from the early version to avoid overloading the interface.
@valeriia_kuna @artem_gontar After a grocery run with a pile of line items and a coupon, my bank just shows one merchant total. Turning a receipt photo into searchable, item-level history is what makes Yomio feel sticky. For base-currency stats, keep the original amount and show the FX rate you applied so people can reconcile totals fast. Even if tax UI comes later, capturing tax per line item now will make exports and reporting way cleaner.
The receipt scanning approach is smart. As someone who runs a business, the friction of manually tracking expenses is what kills most budgeting attempts. Quick question: does it handle mixed receipts well? Like when you buy groceries but also grab some office supplies at the same store?

@philip_sorensen Yes, yes, and yes. This is exactly why I develop this app. To categorise at item level, so now you can go to any huge store - buy anything and do not care about your expense tracker just write it down like "purchases", instead you will get "paper accessoires", "home cleaning", "Meat", "Dairy" etc

"User pool client does not exist"
Might be a config mismatch. Just flagging in case others are hitting it too 🙏

What was the hardest part of getting this out the door? Rooting for you on launch day

@varun_sham The hardest is finally stop idealising and just ship it. App was not ideal, but the core was ready. So I just deside that we are ready to good and will fix problems on the fly ✈️
