@keremoede Yell At A Frog only activates the mic when you open it from the menu bar, it doesn't run in the background or listen passively. All audio processing happens locally on your device, nothing is ever sent to a server. Your screams stay private. 🐸
Love that it lives quietly in the menu bar instead of demanding a whole window. The frog reacting differently to tone rather than just volume is such a smart little detail.
@nihat1413641 Thank you so much! 🐸 That was actually one of the trickiest parts to get right making the frog feel responsive rather than just loud-sensitive. A frog that only reacts to volume felt too one-dimensional, so teaching it to read tone made it feel way more alive. Really glad that detail landed!
The idea of a menu bar frog that actually listens and reacts differently to screaming versus sighing is such a weirdly thoughtful little bit of design. Love that it stays out of the way until you need it.

And yeah, a frog that can't tell the difference between a scream and a sigh felt like it was missing the whole point. Glad the intention came through!
