I have been lately working on multiple projects using claude code terminal. The experience of using claude-code in terminal is unbeaten and I cant seem to bring myself to use claude-work. The problem is for most of the terminals claude is just another app. But when you are running 5 sessions of claude in one terminal, tabs just don't cut it. I would often feel confused as to which tab is running which instance of claude for me.
Well, the solution turned out to be quite simple. I just asked claude to build a terminal for me which would match my own workflow and not treat claude as a second class citizen.
The most powerful thing I found was that in future we won't probably be using interfaces shipped by a company but might just end up building our own interfaces to match our workflow. i.e. interface adapts to us rather than the other way around.
I hope you guys can give the terminal a spin. I intend to keep it open source and free for all.
