I built Y Delays to solve a problem that had annoyed me for years.
I watch sports through IPTV, often with a delay of 30–60 seconds. Meanwhile, sports apps and group chats announce every goal before I see it happen. After having far too many great moments spoiled, I decided to build the solution myself.
Y Delays lets Android users delay or completely suppress notifications from selected apps. You can create multiple rules per app and use Include and Exclude keywords to target specific contacts, groups, teams, or message content.
Everything is configured and stored locally on the device. There is no account, external database, or collection of notification content.

And today, while watching a match about ninety seconds behind, Y Delays intercepted a goal notification. I experienced the goal myself—and only afterward did the notification appear. That was the moment I knew the application was doing exactly what I built it to do.
