As a fintech geek, I don't like Paypal, but I love Xoom. Xoom lets me transfer up to $2,999 to emerging markets at a $4.99 flat fee without regulatory red-tapes that typically shackle other money transfer services (looking at you Transferwise). They make a bit more (like 0.5%-1% per transfer) via exchange rate spreads, but I think it is well worth the time and effort saved from filing forms.
