Secure PDF distribution with personalized watermarking, source identification, password protection, and traceability. XERIA generates recipient-specific PDFs, adds visible watermarks and embedded trace information, and helps organizations control confidential document sharing. Designed for training, legal, HR, and compliance teams. Now available on Microsoft Store, with an unlimited free trial before purchasing a license.

Why I built XERIA
For years, I worked with organizations that needed to distribute confidential PDF documents to hundreds or even thousands of recipients.
Most tools focus on only one part of the workflow: watermarking, encryption, email delivery, or document tracking. I wanted XERIA to combine these capabilities in one practical Windows desktop app.
XERIA helps teams generate recipient-specific PDF files, apply visible watermarks and embedded trace information, protect documents with passwords and permission controls, send personalized files by email, and maintain traceability throughout the process.
XERIA is now also available on Microsoft Store, making installation easier and more trusted for Windows users.
The app includes an unlimited free trial. Trial exports include a visible trial watermark, and email delivery requires a paid license.
I’d love to hear your feedback, answer questions, and learn how your organization handles secure document sharing today.
Tracing whether a sent PDF was actually opened is something a lot of people wish DocuSign-style tools did better. Does the tracking work for any recipient, or does it require them to open it through a specific viewer/link?
@ark_y_k Great question!
XERIA doesn't require recipients to use a dedicated viewer or portal. They can open the PDF in their preferred PDF reader.
The current traceability focuses on distribution and recipient identification. Each personalized PDF can contain visible recipient information and an optional embedded QR trace identifier, making every distributed copy uniquely identifiable.
It does not currently confirm whether a recipient has actually opened the document like DocuSign or other cloud-based document platforms do.
We're exploring additional traceability features for future versions, while keeping the experience simple and preserving recipient privacy.
