I built X2MD because I was tired of the clunky, slow workflow of converting company docs (Word, PDF, Excel, PPT, EPUB) to Markdown to feed into AI models for processing, then converting the AI-generated Markdown back to polished DOCX/PDF for leadership. Existing tools were either online-only with size limits, lacked batch/offline support, or had terrible tray-based 1-click workflows for daily office use.
