Wyrm Math is a manipulative algebra calculator. Drag terms across the equals sign, cancel factors, and split fractions with your fingers — every move runs through a real math engine, so you can't break the math.
Hi PH. I'm the developer. I loved DragonBox as a kid but wanted the version that shows real algebra instead of hiding it — and that I could buy once instead of subscribing to. The core idea: the UI can never invent a step; it only offers moves a soundness-checked engine says are legal, so you literally can't practice a wrong move. The engine is open-source (MIT); the app is how the project sustains itself. There's a playable demo right on the site if you want to feel it before you install. Would love your feedback — especially on the gestures.

Dragging terms and cancelling factors with my fingers actually makes algebra feel less intimidating. Surprised how the solver caught a sneaky sign error I made on purpose.

The tactile approach to canceling factors feels so natural, like solving equations on paper but with the confidence that nothing breaks underneath. Genuinely smart execution.
