It’s easy to want to do more with your day, try new things, or feel a little more connected—but figuring out what to do can become one more decision to make. Wubbin gives you one small task each day. Something simple to do, try, notice, make, share, or explore. No giant challenge. No complicated habit system. Just one little prompt to get you doing something instead of endlessly thinking about what you could be doing.
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?

Astra changed the scope of Wubbin by making me think beyond a simple daily challenge app.
The core product is intentionally lightweight: one small thing to do each day. But I’ve also been building toward Wubbin World, a more playful, persistent experience that’s a bit like Animal Crossing — a world you return to, explore, and interact with over time.
Experimenting with Astra made that idea feel much more possible. It opened up ways for the world to respond more naturally to the user, guide interactions, and feel less like a fixed set of screens and more like a living environment.
Wubbin World isn’t part of this launch yet, but Astra significantly raised the ambition of what I think Wubbin can become: not just a daily prompt, but a playful world that encourages curiosity, participation, and real-life action.

I made Wubbin because I thought we could all use a little more togetherness and celebration when we do little things that we often forget about.
Each day will be a new random task — either something fun to do, some movement, some small seldomly done chore, spreading some kindness, or something creative. The idea is that we all do it that day, and cheer each other on when we do, and maybe learn some new stuff as we go about it. What's not to love about thousands of people dusting off the top of their refrigerators together.
