Hey everyone! I'm Jamie, developer of Written Down. I've kept a personal journal every single day for years and years. I've used all the journal apps on iOS and wanted something a little different than what is available. Other apps are either too complicated, expensive, don't sync or are yet another 3rd party to trust with your data. Written Down syncs via Apple iCloud using CloudKit which works great and fast. You already trust Apple with other data and this way no one else has access, including us. Also, we enabled collaborative private sharing of journals via iCloud with any other iOS users. Written Down is free for 1 journal and only $4.99/yr for unlimited journals, sync, themes and more. We're a small developer, there's just me and Fred at Tinkerbuilt, but we've been developing for iOS since 2008. We have a lot more planned for Written Down, this is just the beginning for it. Love to hear any thoughts and answer any questions about the app!

Very confusing specs for free vs premium-only features on AppStore blurb. It basically repeats all it is describe as in-app features as premium/priced. I’ve got no idea which is what..

@lyondhur Free version is limited to 1 journal, no iCloud sync or shared journals, 1 photo per entry, default theme only, 3 fonts only, no passcode lock, no weather data. So it's pretty good for a single personal journal on one device. There is a 1 month free trial of premium. I'll try to clarify the differences in the App Store description when we submit the next update and can edit it. Thanks for checking it out!
