Hello Product Hunters! I built WP Foundry out of a desire for a low-cost application for administering WordPress websites. It runs on the desktop rather than on a server, so there are no uptime issues and no data is stored on the WP Foundry servers (other than your email address). Thanks Cam! Yes, it's built with Quasar framework which includes a library of Material UI components, and I made use of them.

@mikeybeck Congratulations on your PH launch. This looks interesting. It looks like the MainWP alternative is based on the Local system. Please include the OS in the Description or somewhere on the website. I'm not sure if it is for Mac or Windows.

Thanks Abhishek! I believe MainWP is installed on a server. I suppose you could install it locally using a local instance of WordPress, but as far as I'm aware, it isn't a standalone app. Good point - I haven't made it clear what OS it runs on, oops! (There are versions for Windows, OSX & Linux.) Will add this info now, thanks!

Thanks Girithara. Not yet. Building a new WordPress instance is on the roadmap for later this year though. Is that something you would like to see? If so, I'll get started on it now.
