I'm happy to release my second app called worry-a-way (Apple only for now; Android coming soon). I was looking for a way to relax and quiet the worries constantly running around my head. So I created this simple relaxation app. It worked great, so I released it! Worry-a-way is 100% free. No accounts. No paywalls. No ads. No tracking. Tipping optional.

Curious how the app actually works under the hood, is it guided breathing, journaling, or some kind of timed worry release? Also does anything sync across devices or is everything stored locally on the iPhone?
@tlinokyg There is a picture of a balloon and a relaxing outdoor scene behind it. Sound can be on or off, if it's on there's some relaxing background noises.
You can pick the color of the balloon.
Then you type your worry in a box and the worry appears on the balloon. You can choose release it or pop it. If you choose release it the balloon floats off the screen carrying the worry away. If you pop it, the balloon pops and the worry falls off the bottom of the screen.
Nothing syncs or is stored long-term.
Genuinely curious how you keep it completely free with no ads or accounts, is this just a passion project you fund yourself or is there a long-term plan once Android drops?
@emelqbne This was just a project I started for myself and liked how it was coming out so I released it free. There's no long-term plan to monetize it.
Congrats on shipping it, the no-tracking and no-ads stance is honestly the biggest draw for me. Quick question though, how do you actually quiet the worries in the app, is it guided audio, journaling, or something else?

how does the actual relaxation process work once you open the app, like is it guided breathing or something else entirely?

love how simple this is, just opened it and got straight into a calming session without signing up for anything. the no ads no tracking thing is such a relief, feels like it was actually made for people and not for data.
@melihaioef Thank you! It was! Hope you like it!
Downloaded it during a stressful afternoon and the simple interface actually helped me slow down without feeling like I needed to learn anything first. Really appreciate no ads or signups, makes it easy to just open and use.
@resulboncokqfx Glad you like it! It's simple and silly but it makes me smile, which takes my mind off things.
