Hi Product Hunt! 👋
WorldTimeline started with a simple frustration: staying informed meant jumping between multiple apps. News was in one place, jobs in another, scholarships somewhere else, and grants buried across countless websites. Finding opportunities had become a full-time job.
I wanted one place where I could quickly understand what was happening in the world while also discovering opportunities that could change my life.
That idea shaped two core features. First, AI-generated bite-sized briefings that help people stay informed in minutes instead of reading dozens of long articles. Second, a personalized feed that brings together news, jobs, internships, scholarships, and grants based on each user's interests.
As development progressed, another idea emerged. If people spend time learning, exploring, and engaging with valuable information every day, why shouldn't that engagement be recognized? That led to the gamified points system, which lays the foundation for a larger rewards ecosystem as the platform grows.
But the product wasn't the only thing that evolved during this journey.
Building WorldTimeline also transformed me in ways I never expected. What began as an idea gradually transformed me into an AI-native full-stack engineer. AI became a force multiplier that accelerated every stage of the journey. Every bug, failed deployment, API limit, caching challenge, and redesign became another lesson. By the time WorldTimeline was ready to launch, I realized I hadn't just built a product. I'd built an entirely new skill set.
In many ways, that's been the biggest reward of this journey.
I'm excited to finally share WorldTimeline with the Product Hunt community. I'd genuinely love your feedback, ideas, and criticism as we continue building. Thanks for checking it out!

Love how the bite-sized AI briefings are the default view instead of an opt-in toggle, that single UX choice alone respects people's time before they even ask for it.
