We make travel data fun by putting small towns and festivals on the map with navigation technology!
Travel isn’t just about getting somewhere — it’s about turning navigation and event listing into a community connection. - It’s about creating an informatics tool that is tourist-friendly.
Seasons believes local data deserves a local touch that blends Google Maps precision with human storytelling, using crowdsourced alerts to reveal what’s happening right now.

Maps that Care is a great new map resource because it is personalized. Being in the medical field, I especially appreciate the “Health and Wellness” feature. Additionally, the ability of Maps that Care to incorporate psychosocial and environmental factors for individual users is both unique and impressive. Individuals can interact with the map and share which spaces they find appealing and why. Users can set their own goals and work toward them individually or with friends. Maps that Care is already an excellent resource, and as it grows, it will be unparalleled!
@glenda_westmoreland Personalization of maps is one of our biggest priorities! Everyone's map should be best suited for their individual lifestyle and goals, while simultaneously sharing map space with people they care about. The passively analyzed psychosocial variables are far too often overlooked and should be contextualized with the spaces people occupy and share on a daily basis- especially if you want to find shared underlying conditions. Goals are also often overlooked, and people often assume everyone has the same environmental conditions to achieve the goals asked of them, when they don't. Now, with the map, we can see that correlational data live both quantitatively and qualitatively! 💪❤️
So cool! As an aspiring landscape architect, I'm always interested in how people interact in spaces and what trends they follow. Intention vs. impact, form vs. function, etc.
As a regular person, too, I want to use this to explore my city and find new places, and maybe new people along the way. It seems like a gap in the market, where there is so much potential - merging a navigation system with social media. I also value the assurance that user information is secure and protected from predators.
Keep it up! Can't wait to see where it goes.
@sarah_bilbrey I like how you see map use cases balancing between both work life and personal social life! Both can definitely be achieved with the duality of intention vs impact in both areas of your life! Awesome Reflection :) And yes! Privacy is one of the biggest themes of the app, helping you keep your location and travels only on a need-to-know basis 💪❤️
I have a passion for showcasing the hidden gems and vibrant spots in my city that I believe people will love. That's why I'm thrilled about the launch of Maps That Care! This innovative platform empowers me to share not only locations but also the unique atmosphere of each place through qualitative data. As someone who relishes spreading good experiences and as a UX researcher, this opportunity excites me immensely. Real-time data collection is a game-changer, and I can't wait to contribute to a richer understanding of our community's pulse!
@anna_skidmore It's awesome you're open to sharing hidden gems in your local community from your unique cultural POV on the map! Real-time data sharing is a big theme, offering your own lived experiences and community spaces synchronously or asynchronously! I'm excited to see the technology adapt to everyone's best lived lifestyle and adapt to their matured experiences over time as well! If you have any recommendations from end user or UX/UI let me know! I'm always open to adapting the platform to provide the best navigation experience possible!
