Kissinger explores world order through the lens of statecraft. It is largely an apolitical history book and is a fascinating read. He examines why this collapsed during WWI & WWII and what order emerged after this. He explores the differences between alliances and collective security and gives prognosis of what we can expect with the rise of Islamism and the rise of China.
