Reviewers say WorkBeaver is easy to start with and useful for turning plain-language instructions or live demonstrations into repeatable automations without coding, app integrations, or complex workflow setup. Several were skeptical at first but came away impressed that it actually works, including across desktop apps and file-moving tasks, and some now use it regularly. The main complaints are early-stage UX quirks, occasional delays, and a big limitation: while automations run, users often cannot use their laptop for other work. A few also note results depend heavily on clear prompting.
Hey Darren! Thank you for your kind words and your enthusiasm to try V1!
You’re absolutely right: in the current version, the quality of the prompt makes a big difference, and detailed instructions lead to much better runs. That said, we’re releasing a big update by the end of November that focuses on removing that reliance on manual prompting.
