That second part matters a lot when you're pasting an NDA, a contract, or HR documentation — so word2html.pro runs 100% client-side. Open the Network tab in dev tools and you'll see nothing ever leaves your machine. It also tries to understand the document rather than just copy formatting: a heading made with bold text becomes a real h2, a colored table header row becomes thead/th with scope, and Word's clipboard mess (session IDs, per-word spans, redirect links) gets stripped out automatically. Free tier has no signup and no limits. Pro is a one-time payment (99 PLN, roughly $25) for batch conversion and PDF/DOCX export — no subscription.
