Wonderbin is a cozy library of illustrated bedtime stories for kids ages 3–8. Every story is built for the evening wind-down: soft watercolor art, slow rhythms, endings that land like a sigh. Covers show reading time and age range, several stories are free with no sign-up, and most have free audio on YouTube. New stories weekly; unlock everything with a single purchase or an all-access subscription.

The watercolor art is genuinely calming, not just cute for cute's sake, and my six-year-old actually stayed for the whole "The Lantern That Forgot to Glow" without wiggling. Surprised the audio on YouTube is free too.
@sezerizme5vsr Thank you so much for this, "stayed for the whole story without wiggling" might be my favorite review ever 🥹 That's exactly the reaction we're chasing with the pacing. And yes, the YouTube audio is free on purpose, bedtime shouldn't need an extra purchase for a tired voice. Really appreciate you sharing this!
A reading progress tracker for kids to earn little badges as they finish stories would be so sweet. Maybe it could unlock a small reward illustration or a certificate they can print and hang on the fridge after reading X stories.
@abdulsamet34633 Love this idea, thank you! A printable certificate after finishing a set of stories is such a sweet, low-tech reward, feels very "fridge-worthy" 😊 We're actively figuring out what to build next, so I'm saving this one. Really appreciate the feedback!
Honestly the watercolor vibe sounds perfect for bedtime, kind of wish there was a printable PDF option for each story though, like something the kids could flip through offline on trips or at grandparents house without needing wifi.
@alparsland64069 This makes a lot of sense, wifi-free reading at grandma's or on a trip is such a real use case. Thank you for flagging it! We're mapping out what to prioritize next and a printable/offline option is a great candidate. Noted with gratitude 🙏
Love the watercolor vibe and the age ranges on the covers are super helpful for my two kids. One thing I'd really love is a bedtime timer mode that gently fades the audio and dims the art after a set time, so I can drift off too without worrying about it playing all night on the tablet.
@didem482549 A gentle fade-out timer is such a good idea, it solves a real problem (falling asleep before your kid does, tablet still playing all night 😅). Thank you for sharing this, genuinely helpful. We're actively scoping what comes next on Wonderbin, and this is going straight into the notes!
Quick note on pricing since a few people might wonder: right now, one story per month is free to read on the site, and audio versions on YouTube are available for every story, that part's fully free. The PDF version and full reading access to the whole library are more of a bonus for people who want to support the project. Our main focus right now is actually the YouTube channel. A small mini-game for each story is actually something we'd love to work on next, we just don't have the resources for it yet as a tiny team!
