Hi everyone I am Angel. I created WODometer because I was tired of losing track of my workout numbers.
I do CrossFit. Every time I work out there is a number that I need to remember, like a new personal record for a lift or how fast I finished a workout called Fran or how many rounds I completed. I used to keep all these numbers in places like a notes app on my phone a picture of a whiteboard and just trying to remember them. So when my coach would ask me what my one rep max was I would just have to guess.
That is why I built WODometer it is the thing I wanted for myself.
Here are some things WODometer can do:
- I can log my records for each movement and it shows me a chart of my progress over time so I can see if I am actually getting better or just working hard
- I can enter my one rep max for a lift and it will give me all the weights I need to use for my workouts from fifty percent to ninety five percent so I do not have to do math while I am working out
- It has timers for different types of workouts like AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, For Time and I can even set custom intervals and the timers keep running even when my phone screen locks
- It has over fifty benchmark workouts, like Fran, Murph, Grace and the HYROX formats and it keeps track of my scores and how much I have improved since my last attempt
WODometer is free to use.
There are no ads, no subscription fees and no special paid version with features.
I use WODometer every day when I work out.
I want to be honest with you about a couple of things:
My WODometer app is available, on the iPhone App Store. If you have an Android phone you can download it directly from wodometer.com/android. I am still having some trouble getting it into the Google Play store because they want me to do a test with a certain number of users first and I do not have enough people signed up yet so if you have an Android phone and you want to help me out that would be great
I am the person working on WODometer and this is my first time launching an app so I really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you might have and I promise to read everything you send me.
