As a radiologist in residency, I really don't see the value of your product. Sorry to be so frank, but telemedicine just doesn't make sense for radiology. Especially given the COVID19 situation, I don't many patients will be going to a crowded testing facility in the near term. Have you done any user research on this? Separately, radiology is much more than simple images and a report - which seems to be what you're offering. Radiology is an intimate patient-client relationship as the subject matter can often be quite sensitive (think brain tumors for example). Thus, I don't understand if this problem even exists.

Hey @max_leibovitz thanks for the feedback. We are working initially with outpatient radiology clinics where there is a pretty clear problem especially in the current environment. Where are you in residency? These outpatient clinics are not crowded testing facilities and in fact are quite the opposite in the COVID-19 environment. We've been working with these radiology partners to increase access to Chest X-Rays and CTs that as you know are able to detect the severity of lung nodules present in COVID-19 patients. From our dealings, we've seen that there really isn't a patient-radiologist relationship, but instead a radiologist-referring-Physician relationship where we are hoping to put that Patient back in the center of the equation so they have more control over their own healthcare. As Cofounder for Within Health, it is with great pleasure that I’m able to release the Within Health radiology telemedicine platform to you today! Throughout the pandemic we’ve seen an increase in Chest X-Ray exams to detect lung nodule patterns consistent with COVID-19 and we’re honored to continue helping our communities access all types of preventive health screenings (i.e. Mammograms, Cardiac Calcium Scoring, Brain MRI’s, CT Scans, etc.). With Covid, I have seen my friends become more proactive with preventative health measures, and this will now make it easier to even get imaging. It always has been a black box in terms of pricing - Great to see that you can get a chest X-ray for 100 dollars without insurance!

@sanketchauhan Thanks for the feedback Sanket - indeed it is not broadly known that you can get affordable out of pocket pricing - often times for less than what your deductible is (this is particularly true in a high deductible health plan environment) - cheers

This looks so much better! My last radiology appointment was a nightmare. It turned out that the MRI itself was not necessary, but I learned this only after waiting for 4 hours in the radiology department, getting it done, and having a follow-up with a neurologist who distractedly told me it had been unnecessary.

@tonydiepenbrock good question - There has been reports of problems associated with COVID-19 beyond just lung scarring - things like blood clots (DVTs, CAD, Strokes), encephalitis, peripheral neuropathy and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in pediatric patients (https://www.who.int/news-room/co...)... additionally, the virus sometimes triggers an overwhelming autoimmune or hyperimmune response and possibly vasculitis. If there is a enough evidence to suggest an autoimmune disease, surveillance via lung imaging would be pretty important.
