In the 1800's, people gave each other bouquets with hidden meanings. Wither recreates this practice to help you stay in touch using the lost language of flowers.

We wanted to make a simple app that would let people send little messages to each other without having to worry too much about the specific words involved. Floriography (the language of flowers) seemed like the perfect medium for doing exactly that. There is a rich history of people attaching meanings to flowers for hundreds of years, all over the world. From Japanese flower arrangement to Victorian women writing books of poetry that translated flower meanings. Some of the botanical illustrations we use in the app are over 500 years old and are an interesting showcase of our scientific history. You can send a little virtual bouquet to your mom this Sunday (if you're in the US) or just to anyone for any reason :)
