WireLang is fantastic because it translates text and speech quickly and accurately. It’s very easy to use, and I like that I can type or say something and get an instant translation in different languages
What needs improvement
I think it would be great if WireLang could explain the meaning and cultural context of translations instead of only translating the words❤️
vs Alternatives
I also looked at other translation apps, but I chose WireLang because it’s simple, fast, and easy to understand. It does exactly what I need without being complicated
English is not my first language. Knowing that i dont have to get stressed when translat8ng or talking to other really makes my day a lot easier.

Hey Product Hunt!
I’m David, co-founder of WireLang.
We created WireLang after seeing how often valuable information becomes inaccessible simply because it is spoken in another language.
You might find the perfect YouTube video, online course, meeting, webinar, livestream, or game, but then discover that subtitles are unavailable, incomplete, or in the wrong language. The usual process involves pausing, copying text, opening another translator, and constantly switching between tools.
We wanted to make that experience much simpler.
WireLang listens to the audio playing on your Windows computer and translates it in real time. You can hear the translated voice, follow live subtitles, and continue watching or listening without repeatedly stopping the original content.
What makes WireLang different:
• It works with system audio, not only one website
• It supports videos, courses, meetings, livestreams, games, and more
• It provides live translated voice and subtitles
• It supports more than 70 languages
• The original voice can remain softly in the background
• It includes simple floating controls while you use other applications
The Windows version is available now. The Chrome extension and macOS app are temporarily in private review and will return later.
As a launch offer, Product Hunt users can use code HUNT50 during checkout to receive 50% off.
We would especially love your feedback on translation quality, the onboarding experience, and which platforms or use cases you would like us to improve next.
Thank you for checking out WireLang!

Real-time translation is a fascinating problem. Curious—what use case surprised you by becoming much more popular than you originally expected?

@aryan787544 Great question! The idea started when we shared Loom videos with people who spoke another language. Ezequiel, WireLang’s developer and co-founder, asked, “What if we translated the audio live?” Today, we see strong potential in online courses and all kinds of digital content.

@davidmarketing I like that evolution. It feels like the product may end up being less about translation itself and more about making any spoken content globally accessible in real time.
I'd enjoy continuing this conversation and sharing a few thoughts on where I think this category is heading. If you're open to it, what's the best email to reach you?

@aryan787544 Exactly—that’s the direction we see WireLang heading.
Our goal is to allow anyone, anywhere in the world, to watch and understand spoken content in their preferred language in real time, with minimal delay. We’re also working on an accessibility-focused update to make the app easier to navigate for people with disabilities, so more people can benefit from it.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on where you think this category is heading. You can reach us at accounts@wirelang.com
