WireDog VPN is built for Americans who want their data and privacy to stay on American soil. Every server in our network is physically located on US soil and runs RAM-only, making log retention technically impossible. WireDog VPN is open-source so you can audit the code yourself, so we can prove our claims. Anonymous accounts use a 16-digit number instead of a typical email and password. Additionally, you can pay anonymous using mail-in-cash, prepaid vouchers, or Monero cryptocurrency.

how does the 16-digit anonymous login actually work if you lose it, is there any recovery process at all or is that just it forever?
@lakoseoglu88701 yes the account would be lost and that’s something we implemented as a trade off. We accept this risk as this was the way we could operate as securely as possible to keep our users who want to be, anonymous. There is no recovery process.
How does the RAM-only setup actually handle updates or maintenance windows without dropping connections, and is there any noticeable speed hit compared to traditional disk-based servers?
@gke1051485 We would have to stop connections via a maintenance window to redeploy.
Love that the 16-digit login feels like a throwback to the early internet, no email harvesting, no password to forget. Speeds from the Dallas server were solid for streaming and I never noticed any drops during a couple hours of use.
@kazma5wq while I appreciate the comment, we do not currently have an Dallas servers (yet!). You can see our servers on our /server-locations page.
Finally tried WireDog and the 16-digit login feels weirdly refreshing, no email spam to worry about. Speeds on the US servers held up well for streaming too.
@serpiltrmey8sl thanks for testing it out!
