Launched this week
Race through Wikipedia solo or with friends in real time. wikiracing.org is built around fast loading, accurate Wikipedia articles, and live cursors that let you see other players as you race. Play custom routes, daily challenges, climb the leaderboards, or invite friends and race together.

Hey Product Hunt!! I’m Marko, the developer behind wikiracing.org :)
I’ve always really liked wikiracing, but I wanted a version that felt genuinely fast and polished. I also really wanted races to feel alive, which is where the live cursors came from, and I spent a lot of time making the articles look and behave as close to actual Wikipedia as possible.
So I started building wikiracing.org. You can race from one Wikipedia article to another using only links, either solo or against friends in real time. You can see everyone’s cursors moving around the page while you race, compete on leaderboards, play daily challenges, and create races with friends.
I’ve been working on it for a while now, and honestly the coolest part has been seeing a little community start to form around it. People have been playing, sharing the site with friends, reporting bugs, and giving me a ton of really useful feedback. We actually just passed 700 registered users and 50,000 games played, which is still kinda crazy to me.
I’m still building and improving things all the time, so I’d genuinely love for you to try it and let me know what you think :)
Hope you have fun with it!!
