Upload a selfie to preview different hairstyles, wig-inspired looks, hair colors, lengths, and textures online. Compare looks and share favorites for feedback.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
WigTryAI started with a familiar moment: a friend spent 45 minutes comparing a bob and a lob on Pinterest, then still walked into the salon unsure which one would suit her.
Reference photos are useful, but they always show someone else. I wanted to make the decision more personal: upload your own photo, choose a hairstyle direction, and see an AI preview on your own face before you commit.
I kept the product browser-first and focused on style exploration. There is no app to install, and WigTryAI is not a wig store. You can try a catalog look or upload a hairstyle reference, save the results you like, and share them with friends for feedback.
The hardest product choice has been balancing transformation with identity. A preview is only useful when the person still looks like themselves, so the experience is designed around changing the hair while preserving the face and the rest of the portrait.
I would especially value feedback on three things:
1. Does the preview still feel recognizably like you?
2. Which hairstyle or color options would you try next?
3. Is the result useful enough to discuss with a stylist or a friend?
Thanks for trying WigTryAI. I will be here reading and replying throughout the launch.

The side-by-side comparison view is genuinely well thought out, makes it so much easier to actually evaluate the differences instead of squinting at one image at a time.

@melihabykm5prc Thank you! That’s exactly why we built it. Comparing hairstyles one by one can be hard, so we wanted the differences to be easier to see at a glance. We also added a multi-image comparison sharing view, so people can share different generated looks and get feedback more easily
