👋 Hi Product Hunt! I’m Alessandro, indie developer and creator of WhyHere. The idea came from a simple frustration: tools like Google Lens are great at telling what something is — but almost never why it exists exactly there. WhyHere is built around that question. You take a photo, and the app tries to explain what you’re looking at and why it’s in that specific place, using the image and its geographic context. No accounts, no tracking, no social features.
