Read the clues, fill in your detective notebook and name the culprit. Every case is checked by a solver, so there is always exactly one answer you can reach by logic alone, with no guessing. A new daily case for everyone, playable as a guest with no sign-up. 50+ levels in 5 chapters, from simple alibis to cases where the murderer always lies. Free, in your browser, no download.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ravi. I work in risk and resilience, not software, and Whodunnit is my first game.
I love logic-grid mysteries, but I kept hitting puzzles that needed a guess at the end. So the one rule I built everything around was: every case must have exactly one culprit you can prove from the clues. Each case is generated, then checked by a solver before you ever see it. If the solver finds zero or two answers, the case is thrown away.
What you get:
🕵️ A daily case, the same for everyone, playable as a guest
📓 A notebook grid to tick off suspects, places and items
📈 50+ levels across 5 chapters; later ones add aliases and a murderer who always lies
🏆 Ranks, a leaderboard and a share button for your result
I built it by directing AI coding tools, so most of my job was deciding the rules and checking the results.
I'd love your honest feedback: was the first case clear without instructions, and did any case feel guessable? Tell me the level, because that would be a bug.
