Whodoku is a logic puzzle game where every clue puts someone in their place. Arrange people on illustrated floor plans, with exactly one person in each row and column. Solve each puzzle to uncover a hidden famous person. A fresh twist for fans of Sudoku and clever deduction.
What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

Astra made it practical for me, as a solo developer, to recreate every visual asset in Whodoku with much more detail. It turned out to be excellent at creating high quality SVGs, helping me bring the artwork closer to what I’d envisioned. It also helped me review and clean up the codebase to make the game faster. Doing all of that and launching in less than 30 days wouldn’t have been possible for me without the current GPT models.

Whodoku puts a fresh spin on Sudoku: use clues to place people on a grid, then uncover a hidden famous person when you solve the puzzle.
This isn't vibe coded, but it wouldn't have been possible without LLMs. AI amplified my abilities as a developer, helping me move from the first commit to launch in less than 30 days. A lot of love went into the game, from the puzzle mechanics to the little details you'll discover while playing.
Everything runs on a $5/month Cloudflare plan, using Workers, Durable Objects, D1 and R2. The game is free to play, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it.
Give it a try! I’d love to hear how the difficulty feels and whether the rules click on your first puzzle.
